Ok, what's happenin', what's happenin'?
Long time?!
yup surely has.
Bout time too.
So much has happened recently that none of the ntrprnrs have had chance to blog.
First off...have you bought your ntrprnrs tee? if not why not? get involved yo!
ok so for my personal excuses to not blogging my way into the 2010... My mind has a tendency to wander... for the good of course (sometimes for the bad). I've been so set aside by my own devices that i literally haven't been able to sit down and tell you about what's what. On top of that sadly a big part of my family tree recently passed away of lung cancer. My nan R.I.P... she fought for several months to fight it off and after a trying christmas sadly lost her struggle against the diseases on the 28th december 2009 which had spread through her body. Expect several dedications in terms of writing for my nan 'E.E.F'.
Moving onto other pressing matters, happy new year! May seem daft saying that now but it's still a new year, well newer than the last one-so from all the ntrprnrs we hope you're having a good un and playing as creatively as possible.
More reasons why we have been some what shite in messaging is due to business. And the main reason for 2010. handling our business.
It's somat we all gotta do. I recently watched a film where some old dude discussed the work ethic...the stuff he spoke resonated deeply and reminded me of the lyrics of Aesop Rock...'every man's got a field to plough, i know that now'. never truer words spoke and so on that note me Am, and Persaud have been getting our heads down, grafting, generally doing our things and coming up trumps for you at home.
Right now, Persaud is travelling solo around the delightful India- having had several emails off of him it appears he is in his element meeting and greeting as he goes...but hold tight fun seekers! that's not the final story here. When he arrives back in several weeks we'll all be heading out to Europe for some cultural delights to see how they do it! expect big things in terms of ideas and business plans once we return after our excursion! We wont miss a trick!
Now the numbers in terms of facebook people have been rising which is a good thing, anything to promots ourselves and of course eventually yourselves which leads me onto my next point. what is ntrprnrs.
I have been asked this several times and my answer has been long but collected.
Ok ntrprnrs.
It's an experimental store.

To go into more detail. it's all creative fields joining up to interact and exchange. We want to create a store (online for now- physical in time) that plays host to all the best things that we 3 here and you out there love. the best features of all the stores you've ever shopped at but including you.
par example:
Persaud would be bring his love of music and his expertise to the store- having one or more decks that we can hire out on hourly sets to any ( within reason- dont want to offend) style of dj/genre to practise and get seen to potential customers and like minds
Am would bring his angle of streetstyles and footwear, namely that of kicks to the arena. Being the sneaker fiend he is he will share advice and thoughts with other fiends/collectors and generally hook you up with fly one offs imported from anywhere we can get.
Then theres me, 3. what do i bring? well simply art. My thoughts are to use the wall space to attract as many different types of artist,writer,filmaker, photographer and/or poet (the main man D.Mendes heavyweight in the boxing ring and in the poetry circles kindly modeled the ntrprnrs tee on the big cartel store page) to utilise the wall space for x amount of days as exhibition space to get people interested in there work and themselves. During opening hours customers could swing by pick up some garms, toast up and view the work...who knows maybe we'd get launch nights on using the decks ...few promotions here and there.
But that's it.
were still in the trial phase- but who's rushing? we intend on doing this properly.NO PATH TO FOLLOW.
To clear one thing up also, the store came before the collective or crew. The NTR crew is all about different artists with different styles/approaches linking to do what they do best. create. We represent a street style. A life style. A real style. were a brand i guess. We aint selling out like some people say ATG london are (big up by the way boys- keep doing your thing) the store was first- alls were doing is repping the concept...we are the ntrprnrs.
So to close up.
The debt is nearly paid off. I figure for all the wrong doings and fucked up things i may have said and done in the recent past ive made up for it and more. Travelling, placements, moving on is the only thing im concerned with.Let's stay on the hard grind and push things forward yeah?
