Goings on part 1.

Ninja Tune XX- 20 YEARS OF BEATS & PIECES.

Quite possibly the best download I've been lucky enough to get my grubby mitts on of late. Before the small minority of heads who truly support music by buying get all bent out of shape, I promise it's going get a purchase in the up and coming weeks (perhaps even the fat bearded man, yes that's right your favourite kiddy fiddler uncle will buy it me, santa is his name?) It's just essence. Got some proper old school tracks on and alot of new beats too. Six discs on any cd* never you mind a NINJA TUNE comp is a good thing. I've only had chance to soak up the first couple of discs but already got some favourites. The track 'sun will rise' with Bonobo n truth talker Speech Debelle is deep, if you like kicking the fuck back and lounging then she's the one for sure. Check her stuff out. Proper looking forward to getting on the rest. Any avid music fan should own this comp, if not have listened to it throughout so they know these beats and can say they got down at least once!

In other news, got some interesting stuff approaching for the next few months. We're looking to collab with UK skateboarding company ShutupandSkate in the next few weeks (be sure to check out there latest gear just released). Launch is going be big. The ideas are sweet. Yours truly has something tidy thought up for one of the concepts discussed too.

With chrimbles just round the corner too, there's much to do now the nights draw in closer to lunchtime than ever before. Giving some, the perfect cloak to work under and do their things. Not that we at ntrprnrs condone any form of illegal act, just saying is all. Alot of people who are into that sort of thing will find this article quite exciting. Heard there's many things going be worked upon in the winter months... well best as possible to be honest, weather permitting. Some of the lads I have met a couple of times have got a tidy theme for a production planned too, so looking forward to seeing that.

On the 1st December 2010, up Liverpool, Whole Train Movie will be shown with english translation at the contemporary urban centre (see flyer). It's going be dope as, loads of top writers are linking up for a jam before hand i believe, so be sweet if you n yours can make an appearance to show your support. I'd like to think some of us can be there to make an appearance...

NTR Jam.

So a few weeks back we hosted a mini halloween themed jam up in the west midlands. The ex-industrial city of Stoke-on-Trent. Jam was live, real good vibes, fair few heads showed up too. Sadly however so did the pigs. What can ya do huh!? Either way props for the heads that handled there shit well. Was a good day.
