Yes people, its nearly christmas now and we're all getting ready for a new year. 2011 should be a big year for Ntrprnrs, and our friends.
In particular keep eyes on Colect a lifestyle project from the UK offering a different take on streetwear. Influences coming from brands such as Mishka, 10Deep, the Hundreds and Diamond Supply mish-mashed with graff, illustration, music, nature, history and modern culture.
Colect is by the people for the people, keeping it affordable but unique. It will stay personal and direct with only items dropping that Jack would wear himself, and everyone knows he is a well dressed motherfucker.
Aimed at the confused masses out there, keeping it real. Ntrprnrs approved, go cop.

Lately ive been having mad deep talks with people about people. Particularly based around the terms poison and money. Now it is a big belief of mine that people should just accept people for themselves. And that drive and ambitions should be shared amongst all. However through these talks i've been having i've come to the conclusion that I hate the heavy emphasis on money synthesis. Not attempting to sound at all almighty when i write this blog it disgusts me how much people focus on being part of some unreal, superficial celebrity world. To be a quick celebrity and to earn celebrity status goes beyond all my understanding of people. It seems as though the more we progress technologically the slower we become mentally. With the help of the xbox360 /playstation 3/ the internet even, people dont want to strive no more. There are few and far between whom go out and push themselves to set themselves aside from the rest to be truly individual. The majority of people ive met drift within a bracket of mild celebrity wannabe by there actions. I mean, i myself have been guilty of this. However i feel i know the traits of myself and can stop this anytime. But the people around me who gamble to get the quick buck to improve lifestyle to enter fucking big brother to become a famous nobody for the next few years to earn money, or the people particularly the women? who fire coke up their face to set themselves as far as possible away from the title of a 'woman' to become edgy and chic, like that of someone who is renowned for the rebellious act i.e celebrity. Its all poison.
During my talks i spoke about real celebrity. What happened to the people who truly work. Who strive. Who work all day long sometimes up to 10-12 hours, then come home to a family to feed, then run a marathon in training, before further extending there brain capacity by reading or studying. the people who work 2-3 jobs to improve there lifestyle. Now i know most people will say you'd do the same if you won the lottery! However there are ways and means of how to act, to re-iterate i'm not saying i'm perfect and i'm also not saying everyone who plays or wins the lottery acts fake. My point is there are so many people around me who are striving for somewhere/place they have no idea of that it confuses me just how deluded they all are. Regardless of the time they were born, what happened to pure iconic figures...not celebrities! The likes of Beethoven and Einsteins, Dali? Young male who falls deaf becomes one of the most influential pianists ever to touch the earth, genius scientist who's told his career in maths will fall short because of his absent mind towards the subject and Spanish surrealist painter who was ejected from art school after arguments with his teacher after he's told he is uncreative. I feel like i'm saying what i'm not trying to say too much, so what i am trying to say is; These people didn't give up. they didn't give in, they weren't 'trying' to be on the television. or on the radio. they weren't in the fucking sun newspaper. They had no ideas of celebrity status. They were self driven by there love of life. They wanted nothing but to be.
Possibly driven by the amount of time I find I have since I quit my shitbox job. I find myself searching for more answers than what most people can offer to me. Recently I came home and did something that felt good- deleted 'friends' off of fucking facebook. random and why am i telling you? soul food. I never speak to these people, i may do in the street. But unlikely i will. Some will never speak to me ever again. Some are so divided about who they are they'll live a life chasing something they don't understand. I dont want to be around these people. I dont have too, that's my decision.
This is the real thinking green.
