hessle audio in the house.

A regular that comes into the 'lisa (one that's proper into his bass heavy music - he's also a black cab driver with a massive sub in the cab!) knows that I'm proper into the lads down at Hessle Audio. So, he slung me their label profile, from the Benji B show.

Admittedly, this is a few months old now, but it's an interesting listen about how they got together and they speak about (and play some tracks from) 116 and Rising release (which I believe is their latest release?)

Either way, there are some proper tasty cuts on this show...

Check it out!

This looks fucking proper!!

I cannot wait to get my mitts on this!

dem2.

Whilst working at the 'lisa last night I stumbled across this immense mix from the main man from dem 2. If you followed any UK garage when you were younger than the name dem 2 should be second nature, if not, check this shit out, for me arguably the greatest shit to come out of the UK garage game (and I second everything said in the blog)

As stated in the blog, you wont find any dem 2 productions in the mix but it is still pure, old skool class. This is me all day long.

Check it out here

Also, good old Deanboy has done a pretty pukka Fabric Promo mix aswell.

I could go on forever about them but I gotta start work and will just leave it to you guys.

Pariah.

So, following on from the previous R&S post from myself (look below). I had to write a piece about R&S signed badman, Pariah, I first stumbled across this youth whilst listening to Steffi's Boiler Room set (here) from Berghain, Berlin. Midway through her set she dropped my favourite Pariah track, Crossed Out (here which sounds so unashamedly 2-stepy and british), and ever since then I haven't looked back.

I made sure I grabbed the couple EP's he's done and trawled the net for any possible mix completed (check out his Dummy and Sonic Router mixes)

Here's a few remixes he's done, see what you think?

Feeling the tracks? go check the youth at the R&S take over of the Warehouse Project, Manchester on the 26th of November (which no doubt is probably already sold out!)

Also, check out the work done with fellow R&S artist Blawan, under the guise of Karenn.

OFF KEY CLOTHING.

OFF KEY clothing was born in 2011 at the heart of the UK. Fighting through a battlefield of 'underground' blogs/sites all of whom have taken it upon themselves to release a brand relating back, OFF KEY are clearly like no other. Mainly for the reason that they appear convincing enough to be here for longer than 12months like most half hearted attempts made by almost every UK based street brand.

Instead of biting the likes of other well known brands and changing the way the companies name may look or sound OFF KEY are developing a style and visual language unique to themselves and it's refreshing to see for once!

The OFF KEY boys have recently dropped there limited edition (20 pieces) hoodie range recently which you should most definately cop here.

They told us NTRPRNRS lads that there new lines will be dropping in the new year too!
"New graff influenced range is coming summer 2012!! British styles, tattoo, graffiti influenced etc..."

It's worth noting that this is not a clothing line that is linked to OK crew for you writers out there. Although the 2 clicks are mutuals they are separate from one another before suspicions form.

So there it is, OFF KEY clothing doing it big!
A definate one to watch!

Keep tabs on there blog and facebook.

OBJEKT

Germany's contribution to the music scene is certainly amongst some of the best in the world...ever.

With the likes of Pantha du Prince, Shed and Robert Babicz to name but a few, the Germans are truly showing there musical finesse as tech, minimal and house merge into one floor stomping judder.

The 23 year old young englishman DJ Objekt who now lives in Berlin, easily joins the ranks of the aforementioned dj's and then some. Good things to come from the tech-dub dj in the future me thinks!

Fireworks.

Its that time of year again where those little, and sometimes not so little, funny rockets come on sale again. While everybody else was out getting pissed and watching organised displays, we thought it might be more interesting to take £120 worth of manchesters finest fireworks, into some drains and have a little display of our own, this is how it went...

Createdvoid.

Thought id smash a few flicks and a intro of sorts. But Im shit at intro's and
that so i think il resort to just putting up some pictures. Stoked to be on board.

That'll do for now.
