AUM BRAND.
I think I have expressed my particular feelings towards alot of emerging 'lifestyle clothing brands' in a previous post I did on the dope OFFKEY CLOTHING label. It appears (and I will quote the lads at HURTYOUBAD when they wrote a while back) that everybody with a blog appears to be releasing tshirts these days! (to try and make some extra money on the side or to simply get on the band wagon that has become the physical/fabric version of the dubstep craze perhaps? Who knows!)
Most 'brands' and I say 'brands' very loosely as the majority oppose everything that I stand for as a designer and artist produce the quickest / cheapest shit that fades and/or falls apart after 3 washes. They waste our time and money advertising there garments that have been poorly planned, crafted and distributed and so the industry and our twitter/facebook's becomes saturated with so called 'cool' labels that aren't worth discussing any further!
What's immense about the clothing/fashion industry though, is stumbling upon a brand that clearly demonstrates good planning and careful execution. When an individual or group of individuals work on a visual language, produce high class garments and subtly market there product they raise a brand that reeks of class and that my friends gives me an immediate erection! That said I am proud to introduce friends of NTRPRNRS - AUM BRAND.
Aum Brand was founded by creative NTRPRNR Amar Stewart who's intentions are to craft a well presented, quality brand for people around the globe to share.
Hot out of the workshop is Aum's latest collaboration with House of Billiam!
The Varsity Jacket is quite subtle on the outside making it more of a timeless cut and sew piece but once opened up you get pulled into what Aum as a brand are about. The lining is covered with Eastern inspired artwork using tree brances with gold, red and green flowers.
Amar says 'Moving away from the traditional varsity jacket we decided we wanted a more tailored jacket so working with House of Billiam was exactly what we were looking for'
The jackets are made to order but we will only release 25 of them. Each jacket will be issued with a letter of authenticity and numbered. They retail at a cool £350.00 gbp each.

Black poppers with custom brushed House of Billiam top popper.
Calf suede pocket slits with custom red pocket lining.
Aum Brand patch work next to the pocket slit.
